The Er Hed is a sharply styled custom built around visual contrast. Its deep burgundy bodywork, orange-painted running gear and black mechanical parts give the motorcycle a compact, low-slung presence, while the oversized multi-spoke wheels make the chassis the dominant feature from almost every angle.
Colour used as structure
The paint scheme does more than decorate the bike. Orange rims, fork covers, controls and engine details establish a strong line from the front wheel through the centre of the motorcycle. That colour is set against the dark frame and engine, allowing the bright components to stand out without making the design look flat or monochrome.
The fuel tank carries the motorcycle’s name in gold lettering and is finished with fine gold pinstriping. Its long, rounded shape leads the eye toward the low solo seat, while the painted side panels and rear wheel continue the same burgundy-and-orange theme. The seat’s compact profile leaves much of the exposed rear section visible, emphasizing the wheel and suspension hardware.
Wheel proportions take centre stage
The Er Hed’s wheels are its most immediate technical-looking visual statement. Both use broad black spokes, orange outer rims and polished fasteners around the perimeter. The front brake hardware is left clearly visible, and the large front tyre gives the nose a substantial stance beneath the narrow handlebar.
That wheel treatment changes the bike’s proportions. Instead of relying on a long rear fender or extensive bodywork, the design creates its presence through the relationship between the tall front assembly, the deep tyres and the low engine. The result is a motorcycle that looks planted even though the seat and upper bodywork remain visually light.
Exposed mechanical detail
The V-twin engine is finished in a mix of black, chrome and brushed metal. Chrome rocker covers catch the light above dark finned cylinders, while the pale exhaust headers sweep forward and down before running beneath the engine. Orange accents appear on the controls and small engine fittings, tying the mechanical centre back to the wheels and tank.
A slim handlebar, solo saddle and minimal rear bodywork keep the cockpit visually open. At the front, the round headlamp sits above the broad orange fork covers, giving the motorcycle a simple focal point that contrasts with the intricate wheel and engine detailing.
A focused custom treatment
Without relying on excessive bodywork, the Er Hed builds its identity from a consistent palette and carefully repeated shapes. The gold lettering, pinstriping and orange hardware provide the finish, while the exposed V-twin, large wheels and compact seat establish the underlying character. It is a considered custom presentation whose strongest feature is the way every major visible component participates in the same colour and proportion scheme.
