The Mansory Zapico takes the familiar cruiser layout and gives it a sharply mechanical,
almost concept-car treatment. Developed by Mansory with motorcycle customizer Thomas
M. George, it combines a large S&S V-twin with extensive carbon-fibre bodywork,
broad wheels and a deliberately exposed view of its engine and hardware.

## Carbon replaces traditional cruiser ornament

At first glance, the Zapico is defined by its surfaces rather than by bright paint.
The tank, front mask, lower spoiler, seat section, primary cover and exhaust silencer
are described as Mansory-designed pieces, and the supplied photographs show how
consistently the carbon finish is carried across the motorcycle. The result is a
dark, technical appearance that makes the polished engine, exhaust headers and wheel
rims stand out.

The bodywork is not simply decorative. The tank and seat form a compact, flowing
central section, while the front mask gives the bike a more purposeful face than
the open headlight arrangement common to many cruisers. A small front fender and
tightly shaped rear section keep attention on the wheels and the long, low stance.

## A big S&S engine at the centre

Power comes from a reported 124-cubic-inch, or 2,080cc, S&S V-twin. The original
specification describes the engine as producing 160 horsepower, with a stated motorcycle
weight of 340kg. Those figures are presented here as period claims rather than independently
verified test results, but they explain the Zapico’s unusually aggressive positioning.

The engine is left visually prominent. Its finned cylinders, polished covers and
sweeping exhaust give the centre of the bike much of its visual identity, while
the surrounding carbon panels frame rather than conceal it. A broad rear tyre, substantial
front brake hardware and a long single-sided-looking swingarm treatment add to the
sense that the chassis was designed as part of the display.

## More showpiece than catalogue model

Mansory reportedly quoted a 0–60mph time of 3.3 seconds, an ambitious claim for
a 340kg custom motorcycle. No price was disclosed in the supplied material, and
the Zapico is best understood as a showcase for Mansory’s ability to create a highly
individual commission rather than as a conventional production model.

That distinction matters. The Zapico’s appeal is not tied to practical touring equipment
or familiar factory styling. It is the contrast between cruiser proportions, exotic-
looking carbon panels and a large American V-twin presented almost as sculpture.
For a buyer seeking a one-off visual statement, that combination is the motorcycle’s
central proposition.
