Built for a customer who wanted more dirt-road character from a Triumph Scrambler,
the Amazonia gives the platform a distinctly expedition-inspired identity. Ton-Up
Garage, led by Pedro Oliveira and Daniel Cabral in Portugal, combined a military-
style finish with taller-looking adventure hardware, compact controls and a practical
piece of repurposed luggage.

## A Scrambler with a clearer off-road brief

The transformation starts at the contact points. The stock suspension was replaced
with Öhlins progressive fork springs and new rear shocks, while knobby tires, wider
handlebars and more off-road-oriented foot pegs reinforce the bike’s intended direction.
Those changes are easy to read in the photographs: the chunky tire blocks dominate
the front and rear profiles, and the broad handlebar gives the motorcycle a more
purposeful stance than the standard road-focused arrangement.

Ton-Up Garage also removed the original airbox and fitted a replacement described
by the source as better suited to the project. The available material does not provide
detailed filtration, intake or performance information, so the change is best understood
as part of the build’s functional and visual reworking rather than a documented
power upgrade.

## Military colors, useful storage

Amazonia’s matte green and black finish does more than establish a theme. It tones
down the bright metal and chrome typically associated with a classic-styled Triumph,
allowing the ribbed engine cases, spoked wheels and exposed frame lines to sit within
a coherent field of dark, utilitarian surfaces.

The most distinctive practical detail is the box mounted to the left side. Based
on an old jerrican, it provides luggage space while preserving the military-equipment
theme. In the supplied images, the hinged container is a prominent part of the rear
view, balanced by the short seat and compact tail section. A Lucas tail light keeps
that area visually simple, while the saddle fabricated by Ton-Up Garage adds stitched
detailing without losing the bike’s rugged character.

## Small controls, strong visual punctuation

A diminutive Motogadget gauge sits between the black handlebar mounts, reducing
clutter around the cockpit. The compact instrument works especially well with the
small front number-board-style cover and round headlamp, giving the front end a
cleaner, more purposeful outline.

The exhaust system supplied by Italian specialist Zard adds another focal point
along the right side. Its perforated heat shield introduces a brighter metal accent
against the green bodywork and black engine, while the raised routing supports the
build’s scrambler vocabulary.

Amazonia remains a focused custom interpretation rather than a claim that every
component creates a modern adventure motorcycle. Its success lies in making the
intended use visible: improved off-road ergonomics, aggressive tire proportions,
usable storage and a restrained military palette. Source credit: [Two Wheels Blog](http://www.twowheelsblog.com/)
