The Tech Twin American 13c takes the visual language of an American V-twin and pushes
it toward a deliberately engineered custom. Built by Delaware American Motors under
the DAM name, it combines a large exposed engine with a compact solo-seat layout,
five-spoke wheels and a sharply shaped blue-and-gold body. The result is less traditional
cruiser than low-slung performance machine, with its chassis hardware left conspicuously
visible.

## A V-twin framed as machinery

The motorcycle’s strongest feature is the way its structure remains on display.
The polished engine sits in a dark, angular frame, while the fuel tank, front fender
and rear fender carry matching blue-and-gold graphics. That contrast gives the bike
a cohesive identity without hiding the mechanical center of the design.

At the rear, the broad tire and exposed belt drive create a planted stance. The
solo seat leaves the frame and rear wheel visually open, while the short tail section
keeps attention on the engine and wheel hardware. A single-sided swingarm is listed
among the chassis features, adding to the technical emphasis and making the rear
wheel appear less enclosed than on a conventional cruiser.

## Engineering over ornament

DAM describes the 13c as using an APEX chassis with an oil-in-frame layout, three-
dimensional steering-head bracing and a single-sided swingarm inspired by sportbike
practice. The supplied specification also identifies billet-aluminum control arms
and triple trees, along with a Penske-developed front shock and BST carbon-fiber
rims. These are reported specifications rather than independently verified test
findings, but they explain why the motorcycle looks considerably more engineered
than a straightforward bolt-on custom.

The front end is especially distinctive. Its large wheel, compact headlamp and substantial
fender give the nose a purposeful profile, while the visible brake hardware provides
a functional counterpoint to the painted bodywork. The wide rear tire balances that
visual weight, preventing the long, low silhouette from becoming front-heavy.

## Large-capacity power, compact proportions

Power comes from the listed R&R 2 CAM billet engine. Delaware American Motors’ supplied
description gives the displacement as 127 cubic inches and the output as 140 horsepower,
while also claiming smoother and stronger operation than comparable production engines.
Those figures should be read as the builder’s stated claims; no independent dyno
result or riding evaluation is provided here.

The handmade stainless-steel exhaust continues the bike’s performance-oriented theme.
Its under-chassis muffler is described as NASCAR-style, keeping the exhaust mass
low and away from the clean side view. That packaging choice matters on a motorcycle
where the frame, belt drive and polished engine cases are intended to remain part
of the visual story.

## A limited-run DAM statement

DAM presents the Tech Twin American 13c as a handmade, limited-production motorcycle
with special features. Whether viewed as a high-end American V-twin or an experiment
in sportbike-influenced chassis design, its appeal lies in the tension between familiar
engine architecture and unusually deliberate frame, suspension and wheel choices.
