This Shovelhead from Trollworx Choppers takes a restrained approach to custom styling.
Satin-black bodywork sets the tone, while polished engine cases, bright spokes and
a tall chrome front end keep the motorcycle from disappearing into a single dark
shape. The result is a traditional cruiser with enough visual tension to reward
a closer look.

## Black bodywork, bright mechanical detail

The motorcycle’s strongest feature is its contrast. The tank and broad rear fender
use a low-gloss black finish, interrupted by a small red Trollworx graphic on the
tank and a matching mark at the rear. That limited use of color gives the bike an
identifiable signature without competing with the exposed Shovelhead engine.

Chrome is concentrated where it matters visually: the rocker covers, primary area,
exhaust, fork tubes and headlight nacelle all catch the light against the darker
paint. The spoked wheels continue that polished theme, while the narrow front tire
and larger-looking rear fender give the side profile a distinctly old-school stance.

## A classic cruiser layout with custom proportions

From the side, the low solo seat flows into the sweeping rear bodywork rather than
sitting as an isolated accessory. Its stitched surface adds a small amount of texture
to an otherwise smooth upper line. Above it, tall curved handlebars lift the cockpit
and give the front of the bike a more open silhouette.

The front end is deliberately prominent. A large chrome headlight sits between the
fork legs, and the long visual line from the handlebar to the front axle balances
the substantial rear fender. At the back, the exposed suspension hardware and chromed
exhaust keep the lower half of the motorcycle visually busy without obscuring the
engine.

## The people behind Trollworx

The supplied shop profile describes Trollworx Choppers as a family-run operation
led by Dorothy and Terry Marino. Terry is credited with building the motorcycles
with help from family and friends, while Dorothy handles business operations. The
same profile says the family had been building choppers under the Trollworx name
since about 1990 before moving from its garage to a dedicated location in 2002.

Paintwork is identified as a family skill too: the profile credits Terry’s son Todd
with handling the shop’s paint. On this Shovelhead, that contribution is expressed
through the controlled black finish and restrained red graphics rather than an elaborate
graphic-heavy scheme.
