The G L Special is built around visual contrast: vivid blue paint, polished metal,
brass-colored hardware and a blacked-out belt drive all share the same tight package.
Its long, low stance is reinforced by large, solid-style wheels and a narrow solo
seat, while the exposed mechanical details give the motorcycle a deliberately constructed,
component-by-component character.

## A strong silhouette from every angle

The frame sweeps cleanly from the steering head beneath the tank and back toward
the rear axle, leaving the V-twin engine unusually open to view. That open layout
makes the engine and primary drive central parts of the design rather than details
hidden behind bodywork. The broad rear tire and long front fork stretch the bike
visually, but the compact seat and low-mounted exhaust keep the overall shape from
becoming visually heavy.

The blue finish is carried across the frame, tank and rear fender. Gold-toned pinstriping
and matching accents on the tank and rear section add definition without breaking
up the main color. The polished wheels are especially prominent: their large diameter
and wide, machined faces give the motorcycle a clean, almost architectural appearance.

## Details that reward a closer look

The listed parts show that the finish was not limited to paintwork. An L.S.D. belt-
drive primary from Stevensons Cycle / Evil Engineering is left on display, creating
a strong mechanical focal point on the left side. The glass side oil tank from Stevensons
Cycle adds another unusual visual element, turning a normally concealed functional
component into part of the presentation.

Other details continue the same mix of polished metal and warm accent color. The
split rocker boxes are credited to Stevensons Cycle, while the gas cap is from Crime
Scene Choppers. Joker Machine supplied the hand controls, and Stevensons Cycle is
also credited with the foot controls. Bare Knuckle Choppers components include the
hand grips and foot pegs.

## A deliberately minimal cockpit

The handlebar is kept simple, with a clean horizontal profile and light-colored
grips. A compact headlight sits between the front fork tubes, credited in the parts
list to Deviant. That placement leaves the springer-style front end visually exposed,
with the polished fork hardware and headlight forming a bright cluster above the
front wheel.

At the rear, the solo seat emphasizes the bike’s focused, one-rider layout. Its
hand-tooled leather work, credited to Duane Ballard, supplies a tactile counterpoint
to the chrome, paint and machined wheel surfaces. Taken together, the G L Special’s
choices favor displayable craftsmanship: every major area, from the glass oil tank
to the open primary and tooled seat, contributes something visible to the finished
composition.
