The Amen Design Hubless Monster is built around a single visual idea: remove the
familiar wheel hub and let the tires dominate the motorcycle. Its enormous front
and rear wheels, stretched chassis and flame-painted bodywork create a machine that
looks closer to a mechanical sculpture than a conventional custom cruiser. The result
is extreme, but the design is not simply a matter of fitting oversized rims to a
standard build.

## Hubless wheels define the silhouette

Both wheels are presented in a hubless layout, with their structure carried around
the inner perimeter rather than centered on a conventional axle and hub. That leaves
open space through each wheel and makes the tires appear almost detached from the
motorcycle. The effect is especially dramatic at the front, where a long, narrow
frame section connects the wheel to the tank area with very little visual mass in
between.

The source account identifies the rear tire as a reported 360×18 design developed
by Vee Rubber, alongside a 23-inch-diameter tire. Those figures explain the bike’s
unusual proportions: the rear is exceptionally broad, while the front wheel stretches
the overall profile without adding much apparent weight. In the supplied photographs,
polished metal around the wheels contrasts with the black rubber and emphasizes
the open centers.

## Hidden drive, exposed engineering

Amen’s description says the wheel-drive system was concealed and adapted from friction-
drive principles associated with a carnival Ferris wheel. Rather than leaving a
conventional chain and sprocket arrangement on display, the design places the mechanical
solution behind the wheel structure. That choice matters visually because it preserves
the uninterrupted circular outline that makes the motorcycle recognizable from a
distance.

The same account describes boxed structural-steel panels fabricated to support the
wheels and drive system. They are not presented as decorative sheet metal alone;
they form much of the visual mass between the wheel assemblies. This gives the bike
a dense, engineered center section while the long front section remains deliberately
skeletal.

## Flames over a compact powertrain

Against the polished hardware, the bodywork carries a deep red, orange and yellow
flame finish. The paint runs across the tank, rear bodywork and low front fender,
tying together areas that would otherwise look disconnected. A chrome V-twin sits
prominently in the middle of the composition, with its cooling fins, rocker covers
and exhaust hardware providing a bright mechanical focal point.

The riding position appears low and stretched, with the controls set far forward
along the elongated front structure. That layout reinforces the custom-cruiser character,
although the available material does not document handling, road testing or the
practical behavior of the hubless system.

## Amen’s engineering statement

Amen’s project description presents the Hubless Monster as the realization of earlier
hubless-wheel drawings, completed with extensive fabrication and a compressed development
schedule. Whether viewed as a usable motorcycle or a design exercise, its impact
comes from making the wheels, rather than the engine, the main event. The open centers,
hidden drive and oversized tires give this Amen build a silhouette that remains
immediately distinct from more conventional long-frame customs.
